The Kuala Lumpur Railway Station - Past Article

Today, I am going to post a few pages of information regarding The Kuala Lumpur Train Station, from Majallah Akitek 3 (which I think was printed sometime in 1987) that I got from Dr. Peter Barbor (son of Ms. Yvonne Barbor) when I was in the UK visiting them with regards to researching A.B. Hubback. Dr. Barbor had kindly visited the R.I.B.A and got this article from their library, which is a little disturbing as this magazine was printed in Malaysia!

Please remember : The sole purpose of this blog is to provide information for the use of education or for historical reference only. If you read the article, you will notice that not all information is accurate including the spelling of C.E. Spooner .... so please beware! There is also some conflicting information, but I guess I am looking at it from a historical perspective ... as to the architectural side ... well ... that's for you to decide! Happy reading and let's keep our Malaysian History alive! :)

P.S. If you want to view the full PDF for reference; here is the LINK
